Super Raman Co-Pump
2RU-SRCP-Series

The 2RU-SRCP Super Raman Co-Pump source provides distributed Raman post-amplification.

The SRCP model can provide up to 3 W at 1276 nm, along with low power 14xx-nm seed power, for third-order Raman pumping.

The 2RU-SRCP is equipped with an integrated OSC receiver and an OSC signal transmitter at 1574 nm for fiber integrity monitoring, as well as the coupling optics to combine the amplified C-Band channels with the OSC Tx signal prior to launch into the span.

OSC extraction optics to separate the OSC Rx signal from the received C-Band channels are included for cases where the SRCP unit is used in a system without a 2RU Raman or ROPA pump source.

All models of Raman laser are pumped by multi-mode laser diodes, and contain a low-power single-mode seed diode.
