High-Power Booster
2RU-PY-30-Series
The 2RU-PY30 series boosters are high-power, dual-stage amplifiers with a mid-stage Variable Optical Attenuator (VOA) and Gain Flattening Filter (GFF) to provide an adjustable negative gain tilt with low gain ripple. They provide up to 30 dBm over the wavelength range from 1536 to 1566 nm.
An OSC Transmitter is incorporated in all 2RU-PY30 series units, which provides the necessary signals for fiber integrity monitoring.
All 2RU-PY30 Series models also include Ethernet LAN connections, so that the units can be controlled from remote locations.
